Call for PapersThe conference programme committee invites you to actively participate in this international event and submit papers for publication and presentation at the conference! The programme committee accepts scientific papers on the stated conference themes with a focus on the Central Asian Region. Conference registration and submission of abstracts is open from December 1, 2010! Active participation in the conference is invited via presentation of a paper or poster, or through workshop attendance. Accepted papers will be published before the conference in the proceedings volume of GISCA 2011. Please submit your paper abstract no later than the date indicated in the Conference Schedule Overview. Accepted papers will only be published and retained in the programme after registration of at least one author / presenter. When you follow the above link to the GISCA conference management system, first time users will have to Sign Up using their email address as a user name and your own choice of password. Immediately after that you can Login and submit your abstract and (later) full paper. Papers can be submitted as minimum 500 word abstracts at any time until March 1. Abstracts will be reviewed and full papers for publication are due after acceptance by the programme committee. Please retain the login details you have generated during the abstract submission, you will use the same login to later add the full paper. Paper submission:Authors are requested to submit a digital version of their English language paper in Word (.doc, .docx) format for publication in the conference proceedings. A layout template is offered for download, and it is advisable to directly write into this template. The template has been adapted from the IJSDIR - samples for well formatted papers can therefore be viewed on this site. The length of the paper shall be 6 or 8 pages (including pictures, tables, references etc). No more than 2 papers are accepted from one author. Please make sure that the paper is of excellent English language quality! Please refer to the published volumes from previous GISCA conferences for sample papers! |
